2) How does CBD look?

As a molecule extracted from a plant, CBD comes in different forms, for internal or external uses:

  • CBD oil, which is extracted from the seed, fiber and stems of hemp. It is a remedy, of the food supplement type which has benefits on living beings (humans, but also animals!). It is used for its anti-inflammatory and relaxing properties. It is found in different concentrations of active products, depending on needs and state of health. Concretely, it is used by ingesting 2 to 3 drops per day, which we keep in the mouth for a few minutes. There are oils with different concentrations.

  • CBD flowers are the inflorescences found at the end of hemp during flowering. They are dried and can then be used as an infusion, preferably with a fatty substance such as honey in order to improve their administration and their properties. Simply put them in a tea ball! Like oil, flowers have different “ powers ”, but also flavors. Seek advice from a specialist in your StreetShop store.

  • Edibles: ready-made mixed herbal teas, candies or drinks that contain CBD. To be consumed for their soothing and relaxing virtues, but also for the pleasure of a new taste! Hemp is interesting in terms of taste, it offers woody aromas and reveals itself with a sweet product that tempers it, or more acidic and spicy flavors.

  • Solids and concentrates: CBD comes in other forms. The crystals, which are the purest form of the molecule that can be found, are used in a specific vaporizer (which resembles, but is not exactly the same, those for essential oils). You can also find waxes, solid forms made from hemp fibers. “ Crumbles ” which are very concentrated in terpenes (in essence and resin) and which are used in sublinguals or as an infusion. The capsules allow you to use CBD as a classic food supplement, without being affected by its taste if you don't like it!

  • In creams and other cosmetics: hemp is recognized for its moisturizing and beneficial properties for the elasticity of hair tissue. It is therefore used as an active molecule in creams for the hands, body, face, soaps, lip sticks, etc. There are also effective heating balms to reduce muscle pain and circulate the blood.
