    • Château Toulouse-Lautrec invites you to immerse yourself in the world of the illustrious painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec through an immersion in what was his former family home before he died there at the age of 36.

      VISIT “THE TOULOUSE-LAUTREC ARTIST’S REFUGE”

Discover the soul of the Château through those who brought it to life for five centuries. Walk in the footsteps of its most famous resident, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. After months of work and excess in bohemian Montmartre, he recharged his batteries there with his mother.

Accompanied by a tour guide, you will discover his old family home, his life as a child and as an adult. You will understand the man and rub shoulders with the artist. You will also discover around thirty original works by Toulouse-Lautrec such as sketches, posters and lithographs.

One-hour guided tour - Access included to the exhibition “Château Toulouse-Lautrec: the history of a place, the soul of a wine, the character of an artist” in the art gallery located on the first floor of the store.

To complete your experience of the Château, also take advantage of the oenological visit by benefiting from the Discovery pass at a preferential rate with the 2 visits + tasting. The tasting option alone after the cultural visit is also possible.

Many activities at the Château all year round. More information on the Château website.

Château Toulouse-Lautrec is labeled “Maison des Illustres” and "Vignobles & Découvertes”. Open from Wednesday to Sunday.

We visited her on a Sunday afternoon. It was easy to find the entrance, the place was quiet, the lady who helped us spoke very good English and was very helpful and kind. We visited the rooms and the exhibition of the originals (didn't stay in the hotel, nor ate at the restaurant). The shop was neat. For 8 euro/person it's a really nice weekend activity. I'm glad we came here.

magnificent castle, very well maintained. The part reserved for the bedrooms is certainly comfortable but the decoration could be more elaborate... The castle restaurant is closed but the person responsible for welcoming us offered us a reservation in a restaurant quite close and very pleasant.

It was at the bend of a path that we discovered the castle, initially, not planning a stop, that would have been a mistake, the setting is superb, the castle very beautiful, the visit in October almost alone in the castle, a great pleasure of having it only for us, but also the welcome at the shop, a very charming and smiling person, who presents the castle and also its wines very well, a beautiful showcase for the castle
