Vayres Castle is located on the outer banks of a meander of the Dordogne, east of Bordeaux. Overlooking the river, its gardens offer a beautiful balcony over the Dordogne. They are divided into two areas: a French-style garden and a medieval garden. Some of the castle's rooms are open to the public on guided tours. Activities and workshops for children are regularly organised outside.
