Camp du Poteau is part of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park . It is located on the border between the Gironde and the Landes department. This site has the originality of being a military shooting camp. By virtue of its current function, this marshy moor has remained an open space, not exploited and with a low forest cover. It is a very popular place for birds and especially the Common Crane. Visits are possible, accompanied by naturalist guides and by reservation.
