      Le Verdon-sur-Mer is renowned for its varied beaches. Whether you prefer the fine sandy expanses of the ocean or the calm of the river beaches of the estuary, you will find what you are looking for.


      The Pointe de Grave, which is close to the Verdon, offers a spectacular panorama of the Atlantic and the estuary. It is also here that the famous Cordouan lighthouse is located, nicknamed the “Versailles of the seas”.


      A rich heritage

      In addition to its picture-postcard landscapes, Le Verdon-sur-Mer has an interesting historical heritage. You can discover the remains of the Atlantic Wall, numerous blockhouses bearing witness to the Second World War.
