  Located in Mérignac, just 4 km from Bordeaux city center. This wine estate, steeped in history and neighboring the prestigious Haut-Brion and Pape Clément, opens its doors for visits and tastings by appointment.
  Be warmly welcomed by Mr. Paulin CALVET and his family, or by a dedicated member of the technical team, who will share their love and know-how with you. At the heart of their 25 hectares of vineyards cultivated on gravel soils, discover the art of viticulture and the magic of grape varieties, with red wines predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and dry white wines mainly made from Sauvignon Blanc.
  Tasting and pleasure
  After the immersive tour of the vineyards and cellars, let yourself be enchanted by a tasting of their wines, followed by access to their direct retail store. Their tours are available in French or English, upon reservation by telephone at 05 56 47 37 98 or by email at contact@picque-caillou.com. Take advantage of advantageous rates, from €20 for 1 or 2 people, and €7 per person from 3 adults.

Very nice Wine. High Standard. price is High but still affordable for the quality of the product. Nice wine tasting. The owners Mr and Mrs Calmet are very accommodating. If you live in France buy the wine in advance with the "Primeur". It is a good way to help finance the vineyard and to be sure to have a good deal once the wine is ready.
