The Château de Portets welcomes you all year round for visits , tastings, events and seminars.
Located just 30 minutes by car from Bordeaux and easily accessible by train and bus, Château de Portets is located in the heart of the Graves region . Its exceptional architecture, notably its Renaissance facade classified as a Historic Monument, its rich past and its unique panorama of the Garonne make it an essential place for lovers of wine , history and landscapes.
The Château de Portets offers guided tours which will allow you to discover the château's cellars and learn more about life in the vineyard in a scenographic space equipped in particular with a touchscreen table.
If you prefer independent walks, the “A port on the vineyard” route , guided by an application, will help you discover the vineyard, the streets of the village of Portets and the strong link that unites the castle and the old port.
For children (and older ones!), two treasure hunts are offered: a booklet accessible to children aged 6 and over will allow them to familiarize themselves with the castle, and an investigation called “On the trail of the 15 barons” will bring together the whole family around puzzles to solve.
Finally, gourmets are not forgotten with the “Fins gourmets” and “Return from the market” formulas: charcuterie-cheese platter or meal concocted by a chef accompany the tasting of the estate’s wines.
