    • La Rose Vircoulon: The Roots of Wine Tradition

Their passion for wine and know-how has been passed down from generation to generation, perpetuating a centuries-old tradition. Since the 13ᵉ century, the Vircoulon family has established its roots in this valley, lovingly cultivating the vines that have shaped their destiny.

La Rose Vircoulon: Birth of a Wine Jewel

In 1996, the Vircoulon family's winegrowing history took a new turn with the creation of Château Moulin de Faye, in the heart of the Bergerac appellation, in the commune of Montcaret in the Dordogne. With around 20 hectares of vines, this family estate quickly became a symbol of quality and excellence in the region. But that's not all: in 2005, the estate added a prestigious new appellation: Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. Château La Rose Vircoulon, nestled at the foot of the village of Saint-Émilion in the commune of St Hippolyte, extends over 5 hectares of exceptional terroir, with carefully selected grape varieties: 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc.

La Rose Vircoulon: The Art of Discovery and Tasting

Accompanied by Pierre Vircoulon himself, plunge into the enchanting world of the family vineyards. Explore the different plots across the two appellations, discover the secrets of the associated cellars and learn the intricacies of wine creation down to the smallest detail. Guided tours are a total immersion in the art and passion of winemaking, enhanced by a tasting of the Vircoulon family's flagship products. Let yourself be carried away by the unique flavors and enchanting aromas of these exceptional wines, and discover the living heritage of an ancestral winegrowing tradition.
