The Château Guillotin wine is generously fruity, typical of Merlot, it demonstrates a remarkable balance to which a touch of acidity brings a lot of freshness. It can be enjoyed young, but benefits from prolonged aging.
It goes best with all dishes.
The Château Guillotin vineyard was established in 1730 and has been passed down through the centuries, from father to son, until today to Lucian Moritz. Our vineyard, with an area of 5.5 hectares, is organically farmed.
Chevalier Daviaud represents 1/5 of the overall production and with the greatest respect for tradition, this wine is aged in oak barrels, which gives it a woody flavor. Depending on the year, it can be consumed immediately or preserved. It goes ideally with meats, game and cheeses.
