Chapelle du Carmel Museums in Libourne

 The second site of the Museum of Fine Arts in Libourne is the chapel of the former Carmelites of Libourne. Known today by all Libournais under the name of "Carmel Chapel", it is the place dedicated to temporary exhibitions of the Museum of Fine Arts: a plateau of almost 300 m² refurbished for museographic purposes.

With its imposing choir and stained glass, it offers an atypical and majestic setting to the masterpieces thus presented. Let us quote, for example, the JUAN MIRó exhibitions (2017), 21 rue La Boétie (2018-2019), Toulouse-Lautrec, the birth of an artist (2021-2022), Eugène Atget, photographer poet (2022-2023) and , of course Maurice Druon, the man and his artistic friendships in the fall of 2023.
