  Astonishing view of the city! The 233 stairs are totally worth it, you get to see the main monuments of Bordeaux. There are two viewpoints and in the first one you can see the bell. We went on a cloudy day but it's still amazing. I recommend to buy they tickets in advance

  Stunning views from the top. The climb is quite an effort at over 200 steps, but if you can manage it, it's so worth it. Just fantastic.

  This is the bell tower that is separate to the main St. Andrea Cathedral at Place Pey-Berland. It was constructed during the 15th-century and stands 66 metres in height. Like the cathedral it is Flamboyant Gothic in architectural style. At the top of the steeple there is a gilded figure of Mary with Christ. This was added in 1863. You can enjoy viewing Tour Pey-Barland from numerous positions with the square on the east side of the cathedral. If interested, it is also possible to enter (€9 per adult), climb the 233 steps and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the bell tower terraces.
