Located at the tip of the Port de la Hume, in Gujan-Mestras, its welcoming terrace and view over the basin make Chai Nina a unique tasting/restaurant. Fred Bonnieu's oysters, from N°4 to Spéciale, are produced exclusively in the heart of our splendid Bay of Arcachon. As well as our own oysters, we offer smoked trout from the Landes region, pastries and ice cream from a renowned pastry chef in La Teste de Buch (Marquet), beer brewed in La Teste (Laca Boïates) and fruit to accompany the oysters.
Oyster farming is a passion for Fred: he fell into it at the age of 15, and has never lost sight of his goal: to set up his own business to produce oysters in his own way: in bags, or in Australian traps to get a fleshy speciality; always with the desire to reinvent himself, to improve! At Chai Nina, you'll only eat oysters that are 100% Bassin!
