Founded by Thibault and Damien, two local surf enthusiasts, OCEAN RIDE benefits from more than 15 years of experience and expertise in supporting surfing enthusiasts.

A committed and friendly surf school

Located on the Emile Lacaze promenade, with direct access to the beach, our school welcomes you in an idyllic setting, close to the center of the resort. Our premises offer all the necessary comfort with separate men's and women's changing rooms, showers, toilets and a space dedicated to sliding equipment. At OCEAN RIDE, our concept is simple: offer quality surf lessons while raising awareness among our students about respecting the environment in Lacanau.

A story of passion and commitment

Childhood friends and members of the Lacanau Surf Club, Thibault and Damien made their dream come true by creating OCEAN RIDE in 2010. Since then, they have continued to evolve and innovate to offer the best possible experience to their students. In 2012, the school moved to premises ideally located on the seafront, offering a breathtaking view of the waves, an inspiring setting for learning and progress. Today, OCEAN RIDE has become a reference in Lacanau-Océan, offering quality surf lessons in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Ben, the wise man of the team, Léa, the school's ray of sunshine, and all the other instructors and members of the team are there to welcome you, guide you and help you progress in a friendly and caring atmosphere.
