    • 15 minutes from Saint-Emilion, La Rose Perrière castle is one of the oldest properties in the Lussac Saint-Émilion appellation. With its 14 hectares, our property on a human scale, has turned to wine tourism by offering visits, stays and seminars, in order to share its know-how, its passion for the terroir, and its idyllic setting.

The castle opens its doors to amateurs for tours of its vineyards, cellars and gardens.
The visits are followed by a tasting.

There are several types of visits:

      • Discovery: to discover the vineyard, winemaking techniques and taste our wines
      • Oak: in addition to the Discovery visit, you will learn all the manufacturing secrets of our barrels

      An exceptional green setting

We find the taste of the aestheticism of the owner, Jean-Luc Sylvain, even in the garden which sports the property. With over 200 plants and flowers that vary with the seasons, the gardens have been laid out in a French style. At La Rose Perrière castle the gardens are like paintings where we find harmonies, contrasts, balances that enhance the vineyard.

A vineyard that blends into its environment

We are proud to have obtained the High Environmental Value (HVE) operating certification!

We launched this approach because we firmly believe that the vineyard must be integrated into an environment for the well-being of the vines, the people and the

site. To go even further in its approach, La Rose Perrière castle has launched its conversion to organic farming and will be certified in 2023. This conversion is the realization of a philosophy rooted in our practices for many years.

Wines of character made with passion and precision

Lussac Saint-Émilion, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux Blanc or Bordeaux Rosé, here are the appellations that you can taste at La Rose Perrière castle. All our wines are produced with a signature representing our "ideal wine". Our work lies in the

understanding and mastery of our terroir. We strive to harvest late so that the maturity of the grapes is enhanced by the freshness that the terroir gives it. Our Merlots ripen without ever over-ripening. It is thanks to our know-how that we are able to produce high quality wines with a real identity.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Only 3 rooms available for guests. The place is quiet, clean and situated in the middle for a working vineyard. We were also given a tour of the vineyard and had a wine dégustation upon arrival. Thomas was very kind and hospitable. Pros: quiet, clean, beautiful rooms, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, excellent wine Cons: nothing at all Worth coming back here.

Wow. This hotel is exceeding everyone's expectations for sure. The rooms (especially Versailles) are stunning and will make you feel royal and living in a movie. The property is beautiful, very well taken care of and will give you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful french vines. After having a very delicious breakfast, we got a private wine tasting and tour by the extremely helpful and kind staff and were very sad to leave. We'll be back for sure!

Visited to see the grounds and enjoy a tasting. The gardens are really beautiful. Look out for the 400-year old olive tree! Friendly staff took us around and explained the history of the vineyard. We had a walk around the area where they ferment the wine in oak barrels.
