The mosaic of complex clays offers an ideal playground for Merlot, the region's emblematic grape variety which generally makes up 70 to 80% of our blends. It draws from this land the distinctive characteristics of great wines and develops its own qualities there. The silica and blue clay soils also promote the development of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
