It was in 1998 that Jacqueline and Jean-Jacques Sioen fell in love with the Marzelle. Occupating 17 hectares on the high terrace of Saint-Émilion, our estate enjoys an exceptional terroir, modeled by the old Isle bed, and becomes the cradle of remarkable wines. The ardent passion of the Sioen family for viticulture manifests itself by meticulous care of the vineyard. The transition to organic, which began as soon as the area is purchased and formalized in 2020, underlines our commitment to the preservation of our ecosystem.

Today under the direction of Jean-Charles Joris, the third generation, Château La Marzelle continues to aspire to excellence, while scrupulously ensuring respect for the environment. The philosophy of our field, placing the quality of the grape at the heart of each cuvée, celebrates a perfect symbiosis between terroir, tradition and modernity, an approach which, anchored in the tradition of the great vintages, confirms the belief of the Sioen family: a wine exception is born from a quality grape.
