    • HECTO - NEW GEMS FROM THE RIGHT BANK!

Who would have thought to find such an unusual place in such a new neighborhood: located in the heart of the new Belvédère district on the banks of the Garonne (at the foot of the Saint Jean bridge, just 5 minutes from Stalingrad & 10 minutes from the train station), we discovered this welcoming gem open 7/7, lunch and dinner, which has already become a haunt of gourmets and the bar/restaurant of all the locals.

In this large place, we are already amazed.

The industrial style, raw concrete, stainless steel vats and brewers' tools blend with a warm, vintage decor. Above the solid wood bar, 4 imposing carboys filled with beers brewed on site (10,000 pints above their heads)... We enjoy the ballet of the waiters, the brewer, the cooks who are busy in the smokehouse... we quickly understand that Hecto is not just a bar/restaurant, it is a real place of taste craftsmanship. Here, everything is homemade, with passion, what we eat there as well as what we drink there!

Steaming, comforting & creative cuisine – revisit your classics in dynamite mode!

In the kitchen, a joyful mix of popular French dishes, brought up to date (and sometimes even completely blown up) by chef JB. Generous and surprising plates that change from one week to the next, thought out and prepared with care. For the most couch potatoes, rest assured the permanent dishes will reassure you!

Among the chef's signatures, low temperature cooking in a wood smoker which delights the taste buds, for the most gourmet as well as the most regressive.

At lunchtime, it's the Brasserie Formula (starters, main courses, desserts), with different dishes every week and a permanent menu. Perfect for adding a boost to your day, a quick lunch with colleagues.

In the evening, there's a sharing plate atmosphere (from €6 to €10 - for dishes like this, we challenge you to find a better quality-creativity-price ratio). All this topped off with a pint of beers made on site for €5 or €6 max!

A great Sunday deal not to be missed: Sunday smoked and roasted chicken, with sides and (secret) beer sauce, a little treat! All this for €10 per person, to share with family or friends. It's best to book because the chickens are in high demand.

Beers brewed on site, and a wide selection of local drinks

At the origin of the place, craft brewers who love everything local. On the program: 15 beer taps made on site and by local breweries. The 5 enormous tanks above the bar are proof of this, the beer is fresh, clean, direct from the producer!

Not a beer fan? No worries, there’s a good beer for everyone!

The meticulous owners have sourced a whole range of local drinks: original soft drinks, local wines, fine regional spirits... from lemonade to cocktails, there's something for everyone, and even some local gems.
