  I had the most amazing time at this hotel. It was exactly what I was looking for - a building rich in history located away from the busy Bordeaux and with lots of green spaces. I got a large room with garden view from all windows, parquet floor, and a 4-piece bathroom. The staff were lovely and patient as I practised my French. Ashley from the breakfast bar, the receptionists, and Lilly and Gael from the restaurant were all friendly. At the restaurant, the food was bursting with flavours and the cocktail was great. It wasn’t a busy night but the chef was alone so kudos to him for doing it all by himself! I really can’t complain. It was amazing all around and I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday experience.

  Really nice hotel, also thanks to the splendid park that surrounds it. Too bad we got mixed up with my booking: I had booked the suite and a double but upon arrival my suite was given to someone else. I was very sorry but the staff tried to reimburse by offering us a great breakfast. Certainly the regret remains and I cannot review the suite...

  Mixed feelings as the château is very nice but the room (I had room 14) was average. As it is at the end of the dependencies, shower has no hot water. There was also some bad smells coming from the toilets. Otherwise breakfast is good and staff is friendly and helpful.
