This review is of the actual Fort. But the tourist office was also fantastic. Don’t miss this UNESCO site! It’s fantastic ‼️‼️ plan on spending the day as there is so much to see in addition to the fort. Visit the galleries and restaurants inside and climb the walls and ramparts. Get tours through the tunnels and see the secret passage ways! It’s a a phenomenal fortress with incredible architecture.

The Tourist Office of Blaye could not have been more friendly or helpful. The staff speak English perfectly and are very knowledgeable about the area. The office also has several displays of locally sourced products for sale. This is a very helpful spot for any assistance you may need.
